| Thank you for your interest in the bachelor of science in Applied Plant Science (APS) and the chance to tell you about ourselves and our new program. Opportunities in the life sciences, including those in the areas of plant and environmental science and food production, are growing fast. The APS program provides a strong foundation in biology and also programmatic flexibility so that students can acquire experience through internships, independent research and study.
While visiting our site you will meet some of our faculty and learn about their research projects--projects that you may decide to work on as a student. You'll also meet students and learn about their experiences at U. M. and with the APS program.
We'd also like to tell you a little about what's happening in plant, environmental and food sciences and about career opportunities in these areas. We hope to answer questions you may have and invite you to stop by after this "virtual visit." We look forward to meeting you!
