| We're glad that you are considering transfering to the College of Food, Agricultural, and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS), University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. We'd like to help make your transition a smooth one.
You are considered to be a transfer student if you have been enrolled in any post-secondary institution since completing high school. Before applying for admission to the U, you may want to meet with a CFANS Admissions Advisor who will help answer your questions about transfering credits.
After meeting with an advisor, you will need to complete the Transfer Admission Application to be admitted to the U.
If you were enrolled at another University of Minnesota campus (Duluth, Morris or Crookston) or in different college at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities campus, you will need to complete the Change of College form.
Admission to CFANS is based on the following factors: your overall GPA, grades in science, math, and coursework relative to your proposed major, completion of prerequisites (such as College Algebra) and the availability of space in the program to which you are applying.
NOTE: If you took PSEO courses while in high school but have not completed any college courses since graduating from high school, you are considered a new freshman. You should complete a Freshman Application. You will still need to submit an official transcript of your college courses when you apply.
SCHOLARSHIPS: Scholarships for transfer students are handled by the student's college or department. Visit the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences General Scholarship Information page. |
